Hidrostal are the inventors of the screw centrifugal impeller. For more than 30 years a continuous research and development program has given Hidrostal a technology advantage in handling difficult materials.    A family of pumps has been developed with variations of the screw centrifugal impeller to solve specific pumping problems

The Hidrostal screw centrifugal impeller is of single spiral vane design providing high efficiency, low NPSH requirement, large solid passage and the ability to handle rags or other fibrous material without blocking. The leading edge of the impeller vane blends into the impeller body so that any material on the leading edge is released and follows the flow stream through the pump.

The Hidrostal pump has the following main benefits:

Ability to pump liquids with viscosities above values normally possible with conventional centrifugal pumps.

Innovative screw centrifugal non-clogging impeller.

Large impeller free passage.

Gentle low shear pumping

High hydraulic efficiencies

·  Steep and stable H/Q curves

·  Adjustability of the clearance between the impeller and liner maintains the non-clog performance and efficiency.

•  Flat, non-overloading power curve

•  Low NPSH characteristic

Pump Mixing Systems

The alternative to conventional submersible mixing. Piped recirculation for simple, reliable and cost effective method of mixing tank contents
